A high quality 8 channel Microphone Mixer, not to be confused with inferior models which are only passive and dont require any power source. This Active mixer features 8 x 1/4" mono channels with individual volume controls, A & B output jack sockets, on/off switch with power on LED and Master volome controls. It also features a stereo / mono switch to enable 4 channel stereo operation. The unit is powered by a 9 volt PP3 battery (not supplied) which is housed in the battery access compartment on the side of the unit. The unit can also be powered by using an external mains adapter (not supplied).
